We are Always Looking for Caring Individuals Seeking to Help Out our Organisation.
If you are passionate about pigeons and have spare time, you may be able to volunteer with Freckle’s Fellowship by being a transporter or foster carer. At the moment we do not have availability for volunteering shifts at the shelter, but we hope to have new opportunities come 2027! We welcome any and all enquiries, do not be shy if you are new to pigeons or birds!
Become A Foster Carer
Provide temporary homes for pet pigeons who haven’t been adopted yet! By opening your home to a pigeon, you’re giving them a safe and loving place to stay while they wait for their forever family. Every new foster home helps us rescue and care for the hundreds of birds we take in each year.
Become a Volunteer Transporter
Almost every day, sick and injured pigeons are requiring transport to veterinary clinics and rehabbers across Melbourne. Join the transport group today, run by Pigeon Rescue Support Inc, to help out where and when you can! There is NO obligation to transport; even if you can only help out once, it makes a HUGE difference.
